The Leadership Academy offers an immersive, hands-on experience designed to grow rising leaders in aging services. Through a combination of interactive sessions, site visits, and self-discovery, you’ll gain the skills, insights, and confidence to make a real impact in your organization—and the field of aging services.

April 15-16: Community First Solutions, Cincinnati, OH
June 2-3: Judson Manor, Cleveland, OH
August 24-25: Hilton at Easton, Columbus, OH (in conjunction with the LAO Annual Conference)
Continuing Education Credits
The program is approved for continuing education credits through BELTSS, recognized by the Ohio Board of Nursing for all nurses in the state.
Who Should Apply
The Leadership Academy welcomes any employee of a LeadingAge Ohio member organization—clinical, administrative, or otherwise—who demonstrates strong leadership potential. It’s not about your title; it’s about your drive, insight, and commitment to making a difference.
Note: Continued participation requires active employment with your sponsoring organization and adherence to program expectations.
Investment & Sponsorship
Tuition is $2,695 per Fellow (non-refundable), covering program materials, assessments, evaluations, continuing education units, certificates, and registration for the Annual Conference and Trade Show. Fellows are responsible for hotel, travel, and some meals.
Each Fellow must identify a sponsor within their organization who understands and supports the time commitment and goals of the program.

We strive to assemble a diverse class of Fellows with a variety of experiences, leadership roles, and perspectives. Applications are reviewed by a committee of LeadingAge Ohio members and staff using these criteria:
