As the Executive Director at Asbury Springhill you will be responsible for the overall operations, leadership, management and success of our CCRC.  will also be responsible for financial management, quality assurance, regulatory management, business development goals and maximization of revenue, family relations, and resident care.

Major Duties include:

  • Operation of the facility in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the governing body in compliance with federal, state and local regulations.
  • Monitoring each department including communicating policies, evaluating performance, providing feedback as needed.
  • Developing an environment that allows for problem solving and empowerment of the culture change initiatives, including the use of the Planetree philosophy.  
  • Developing positive relationships with government regulators, residents, families, other area health care providers, physicians and community at large
  • Exhibiting positive customer service both to internal and external parties.
  • Verifying facility building and grounds are maintained properly and that equipment and work areas are safe and orderly, and any hazardous conditions are addressed.
  • Managing facility budgets and business practices including labor costs, payables, and receivables.

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of eight years of experience in the leadership of a medium to large Continuing Care Retirement Community.
  • Strong experience in service coordination of home and community based services with demonstrated success in supporting individuals in their own homes, maintaining their health and independence.
  • Ability to manage through influence, build consensus and drive for results in a very collaborative community.
  • Experience supporting and managing relationships with Boards of Trustees and Advisors.
  • Engagement in corporate-level initiatives.
  • Exceptional communications skills.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in Gerontology, Business, or related field required.
  • Master's degree preferred in Health Administration, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Current or former Nursing Home Administrators’ license preferred.
