in Long-Term Care Facilities
Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University is offering a stepping stone opportunity for your facility. With support from the Ohio Department of Medicaid, Scripps is pleased to announce that funding is available to implement the Opening Minds through Art (OMA) program. Ohio nursing homes with Medicaid certification can apply for up to $3,500 in startup funds to cover initial training expenses and art supplies AND and meet the state's Quality Improvement requirement..
Opening Minds through Arts is an award-winning intergenerational visual arts program for people with dementia developed at Scripps Gerontology Center at Miami University.
