2025 LeadingAge Ohio’s Legislative Reception/PAC Fundraiser

Due Amici, 67 E. Gay St., Columbus, OH 43215

2025 LeadingAge Ohio’s
Legislative Reception/PAC Fundraiser

The Ohio House and Senate conducted their swearing in ceremonies to kick off the two-year, 136th General Assembly on January 6, 2025. Leadership positions in each of the chambers were also selected, with former outgoing Senate President Matt Huffman taking over as Speaker of the Ohio House, while State Senator Rob McColley was elected as Senate President. Introduction of bills is set to commence on January 17, with House and Senate sessions scheduled to start on January 22.

Members have a prime opportunity to meet this general assembly’s lawmakers at LeadingAge Ohio’s legislative reception on January 29 at Due Amici in downtown Columbus.

This is an excellent opportunity to network with your legislators while reinforcing the importance of aging services as budget season heats up. Your real-life experiences inform the policy decisions they will be facing.
