Executive Director, Home Health Operations
Genacross Lutheran Services, headquartered in Toledo, Ohio, is a multi-service, multi-site social ministry organization and is seeking an innovative, collaborative and visionary Executive Director, Home Health Operations to join its exceptionally strong leadership team. Northwest Ohio Home Care Partners was established three years ago as a partnership with Alternate Solutions Health Network. Genacross has recently bought out Alternate Solutions shares and will have 100% ownership of the business. Genacross At-Home will be the name of the new entity. The company is Medicare and Medicaid certified and offers comprehensive skilled home health care services.
Reporting to the Vice President, Home and Community Based Service, the Executive Director of Home Health Operations is responsible for ongoing, routine operations, community relations and business development, for Genacross At-Home and for coordination of business strategies throughout Genacross Lutheran Services. The opportunity will offer many aspects of a new start-up only with much of the infrastructure well underway and a built-in market ready to be served.
Creativity and entrepreneurship will be integral to the role. A Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, therapy or related field and at least five years of administrative responsibility preferably in a home health capacity is required. (S)he must possesses strong strategic planning, organizational, budgeting, program development, and supervisory skills, as well as excellent human relation skills.
