Amy McCray

Amy is a Regional Executive Chef but is referred to as the Farm to Table Maestro. Amy believes in the mission of providing quality, locally sourced foods to promote the overall brain health and well-being of seniors. Amy searches for the best quality organic foods from local farmers and growers to guarantee the residents she serves receive the freshest, non-GMO, antibiotic-free, hormone-free, and pesticide-free goods as possible, all while supporting local farms. Amy has established partnerships with beef and pig farmers here in Ohio who raise farm fresh for Cotter House Worthington and the other communities Amy serves. Amy shops the local and statewide farmers markets, produce auctions, and independent growers to source everything from butternut squash, green beans, tomatoes, and corn to apples, melons, and berries. Amy has created a transparent supply chain that allows us to highlight our growers and spotlight our local and statewide partnerships. Chef Amy always says, "By supporting locals, we are supporting locals and giving back to the community." Amy works hand in hand with her entire hospitality (dining service) team to utilize seasonal items, so our residents experience the best of each growing season. Amy works with her communities on cost-conscious strategies that not only benefit the communities but also the local farms she works with across the state.
