Tammy Meyers, LNHA, CDP
Tammy is a senior living expert with more than 25 years of long-term care and senior living industry experience. Tammy is a driven leader with values rooted in integrity, compassion and love: the basis to developing self and others.
Tammy’s love for the elderly began when she was a teenager caring for her grandpa. Tammy began her healthcare profession as a nursing assistant in a nursing home and decided early on that “every grandma and grandpa needs an environment filled with love and compassion.” After helping seniors’ rehab to go home for the last 20 years, working as a Nursing Home Administrator in Dayton and Central Ohio, Tammy realized she wanted her focus to be on helping those that couldn’t go home, stating “My mission now is to help our residents live their best life every day, no matter where they are in the Alzheimer’s/ Dementia journey.”
Tammy is currently the Executive Director of Cotter House Worthington. She oversees all aspects of the operations at Cotter House, including care quality, compliance, financial stewardship, and team leadership and mentorship. Tammy works closely with Chef Amy and Greg Cini to grow the Farm to Table initiative for Cotter House Worthington and its affiliates. Tammy believes “Committing to the practice of 'Farm to Table' is not only the right thing to do for our residents' health, but it produces a positive ripple effect that is far-reaching.”
