Amy Schwieterman, CALL, CDP

Director of Membership & Partnership Development

Amy Schwieterman is the Director of Membership & Partnership Development at the Ohio Assisted Living Association (OALA). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and brings over 13 years of experience in senior living, including 8 years dedicated specifically to assisted living communities. Throughout her career, Amy has served in key leadership roles such as Sales Manager, Senior Director of Sales & Marketing, and Executive Director.

Amy first joined OALA in July 2018 as Membership Director, serving until June 2020. She returned to the organization in March 2022, continuing her mission to support and grow the assisted living community across Ohio.

Driven by a passion for helping others find meaningful solutions, Amy has always valued the deep connections she formed with residents, families, and community staff. Her ability to listen and understand individual needs has helped her foster environments where people feel supported, healthy, and happy—both in living and working spaces.

Outside of work, Amy and her husband, Ben, are proud parents to two young daughters, Keiara and Kaydence. Together, they enjoy family adventures to Legoland, the Franklin Park Conservatory, and exploring the Columbus Metro Parks.
