OMES Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal system updates
On February 1, Ohio Department of Medicaid (ODM) implemented the Ohio Medicaid Enterprise System (OMES) Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal accessed via the Provider Network Management (PNM) module. Through this new portal, Nursing Facilities (NF) and Intermediate Care Facility (ICF) providers submit cost reports and other required documents.
ODM and the Ohio Department of Developmental Disabilities (DODD) are aware of several issues that have been causing access issues into the OMES Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal. On March 21, the PNM vendor, Maximus, and Cost Reporting and Rate Setting Web Portal vendor, Myers and Stauffer, implemented system changes to address the known log in issues. Provider agents should now be able to access and upload cost reports and other required documents.
Training recordings and resources are available for the OMES Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal in the learning management system (LMS), Absorb. To access these resources, follow the steps below:
- Login into Absorb.
- Choose “Virtual Stage 3 Training Session: OMES Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal – NF and ICF-IID Providers.”
- Navigate to the “Resources” section. Here providers can access recorded training and the OMES Cost Report and Rate Setting Web Portal LTC Training Slide Deck. ODM and DODD encourage providers to review the training to learn how to access rate packages and upload cost reports.
