LeaderStat launches Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) Program on November 28

The Ohio Board of Nursing approved Medication Aide Certification (MA-C) course prepares students to administer medications in nursing centers across the state of Ohio. This course, provided by LeadingAge Ohio Associate member LeaderStat, includes a combination of in-classroom learning as well as on-site clinical training, and is taught by a seasoned RN Clinical Instructor that brings 34 years of long-term care experience to the classroom. 

In order to be eligible for the program, students must be a current STNA in good-standing in the state of Ohio or have one year of direct experience in a residential care facility. For more information on this program, including dates and cost, please click here.
