Are You, or Do You Know, A Caregiver for an Elder that Lives at least Two Hours Travel Distance Away?

Researchers at The University of Boston and Fordham University are conducting a study funded through the National Institute on Aging, which is examining the experiences of long-distance caregivers to older adults. The goal of the study is to better understand the involvement and the challenges involved in providing long-distance caregiving, resources that are used to tackle these challenges, and any new services that might be helpful.  Eligible caregivers will participate in a 60-minute telephone interview and receive a $20 Amazon gift card in appreciation.

The older adult may be living at home, assisted living, or long-term care; in the US or abroad.  The caregiver must live at least 2 hours’ travel distance away and must be the primary caregiver or share caregiving responsibilities equally with another friend or family member.
