F-tag 677 has become the third most frequently cited F-tag for annual surveys in Ohio. The Requirements of Participation for §483.24(a)(2) state a resident who is unable to carry out activities of daily living receives the necessary services to maintain good nutrition, grooming, and personal and oral hygiene. Residents who are unable to carry out their own activities of daily living are identified as vulnerable residents and are to be selected in the resident sample as a mandatory task for the survey process.
