You asked... We answered

You Asked:

Where do we find the data for hospitalizations or cases to determine if we need to be in universal source control of masking? The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has changed their COVID-19 webpage, and we can no longer find the data on cases.

We Answered:

The ODH COVID-19 webpage did change but the data can still be found in the Download Statewide and County Case Rates link. We have asked if ODH if they are planning to continue to maintain this dashboard and will keep you abreast if the case rates no longer become available. Additionally, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) hospitalization numbers can be found on the CDC COVID Data Tracker webpage.

LeadingAge Ohio held an all-member call explaining the different metrics and thresholds to consider when determine if a healthcare setting should go back into universal masking. The record and slides can be found on the LeadingAge Ohio Communications webpage and is found under the recent all member calls tab.
