LeadingAge Ohio Welcomes Two New Members to Board of Directors, Honors Two Outgoing Board Members

At its Annual Meeting on August 27, LeadingAge Ohio recognized the service of two long-term Board members as their terms on the LeadingAge Ohio Board of Directors ended. Mike Ray, President/CEO of Green Hills Community, had served on the Board since 2009 and served as Board Chair from 2015 to 2016, notably overseeing the merger of the Midwest Care Alliance and LeadingAge Ohio. John Warner, President and CEO of Brethren Retirement Community, had served since 2012, most recently serving as Treasurer.

Both of these leaders are highly respected by their colleagues as they demonstrated steady leadership during a period of significant change at LeadingAge Ohio, including transitions in leadership and staffing and the merger with the Midwest Care Alliance.

New Board Members Rich Boyson, President and CEO of Eliza Jennings, and Chris Widman, Executive Director of Good Shepherd Home, were approved by the membership and will be officially installed at the next LeadingAge Ohio Board Meeting in November. Rich and Chris join the LeadingAge Ohio Board member Class of 2022.
