Last week LeadingAge Ohio was proud to host the Hospice Veteran Partnership of Ohio meeting as 40+ hospice providers, state officials and Veterans met to discuss their common goal of working together to ensure that excellent care at the end of life is available for our state’s Veterans and their families.
Guest speaker Jessica Homan, LGBT Veteran Coordinator for the Chalmers P. Wylie VA Ambulatory Care Center in Columbus, Ohio spoke about the challenges many LGBTQ Veterans and older adults face and how providers and caregivers can better serve them.
