Chapel Hill Community is seeking a Director of Nursing for our faith based, nonprofit organization owned by United Church Homes, Inc. KEY JOB DUTIES:

Achieve company and community clinical indicators/goals.
Achieve community goals for annual state survey and inspections; ensure nursing programs are provided for the community.
Responsible for ensuring excellent resident care through maintaining contact with clients while coordinating and supervising services with Interdisciplinary Team.
Effectively manage nursing hours/PPD.
Ensures that all nursing documentation is timely, accurate, and complete.
Timely and effectively integrate all identified company, regional initiatives or best practices into operations.
Must be comfortable assigning duties and delegating responsibilities to nursing personnel. Responsible for evaluating performance, encouraging staff development and professional growth, assurance of adequate 24-hour coverage in the community daily, supervision and direction of Licensed Personnel to improving nursing services.
Must maintain an ongoing quality assurance program.
Must be a team oriented leader interested in empowerment and positive staff interactions.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Director of Nursing and/or nursing leadership role.
Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
Current, unencumbered, active RN license in Ohio.
Must meet pre-employment requirements of United Church Homes, Inc. and all other federal and state requirements.
