About Otterbein

Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices is a health and human service ministry, serving approximately 2,000 people throughout western Ohio. Our origins date back to 1912, when the first Otterbein community was built in Lebanon, Ohio. Originally a home for elderly and orphaned individuals, in the 1960s Otterbein devoted itself exclusively to enhancing the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons. Since then, Otterbein Senior Lifestyle Choices has grown to include retirement communities, skilled nursing and rehab neighborhoods, home health and hospice. We continue to look forward with vision and faith.

Otterbein Mission Statement

In keeping with our United Methodist tradition, we seek to enhance the quality of life and holistic growth of older persons.
