Affordable housing property managers, service coordinators and leadership need to possess the clinical knowledge and interventions to respond to the most common mental health challenges experienced by this population. This education will provide tools for affordable housing professionals to advocate on behalf of the residents they work with, from solution focused approaches to addressing mental health to macro-level advocacy to expand availability of affordable housing. Participants will integrate their own professional experiences into the group discussions, and compare their clinical strategies to their peers and experts. They will take away tools and gain resources they can apply in their practices.
