In a recent blog post, LeaderStat highlighted the efforts of programs across the country in incorporating intergenerational programming in their facilities and communities. The blog post includes several examples, including embedding childcare centers in nursing facilities, community-based partnerships which are designed to serve seniors and children, like the Champion Intergenerational Enrichment and Education Center, a partnership between National Church Residences, the Ohio State University, and community groups, and programs which work with at-risk youth or children in the foster care system.
