Stark County Dentist Named President-elect of the American Dental Association

Dr. Thomas Paumier also has served as president of the Ohio Dental Association

Thomas Paumier, D.D.S., from Canton, Ohio, was voted president-elect Oct. 27 by the ADA House of Delegates.

Paumier served as president of the Ohio Dental Association (ODA); chair of the Council on Members Insurance and Retirement Programs; and has served on the ADA Strategic Forecasting Committee. He received his dental degree from Ohio State University College of Dentistry.

Paumier ran against James Boyle, III, D.D.S., of Lancaster, Pennsylvania; Giorgio Di Vincenzo, D.M.D., of Jersey City, New Jersey; and Michele Tulak-Gorecki, D.D.S., of Rochester Hills, Michigan. Paumier won after two runoff votes.
