ODH Needs Facility Contact Information on COVID-19

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has released numerous COVID-19 bulletins in the last several weeks. In a recent bulletin sent to providers, ODH requested information on personal protective equipment (PPE) needs and also included the link to complete a survey on the topic. LeadingAge Ohio encourages members to check their inboxes to ensure they’ve responded promptly to ODH’s request. The survey link is provider-specific, so it must be accessed via the email sent directly to providers.

The bulletins include recommendations to review CDC guidance on conservation of PPE, information for healthcare professionals, and general information on mitigation strategies in pandemic prevention.

Providers should identify who within the organization will be monitoring the release of ODH bulletins, who will complete the requests for information, and who will be the person tracking PPE supplies as well as concerns with obtaining supplies.
