LeadingAge Ohio advocates for policies that remove barriers to care, develop new services, improve reimbursement and make Ohio a better place to age. Our advocacy team tracks legislation and regulatory updates to make sure that policy makers understand how changes will impact our members and the people they serve.

LeadingAge Ohio offers relevant and timely educational programs for professionals at all levels in your organization. Many of our educational programs offer continuing education credits through Ohio’s Board of Executives of Long-term Services & Supports (BELTSS) as well as the Ohio Nurses Association.

The Ohio Department of Health (ODH) has released a one-page tip sheet on the required postings for homes. It provides guidance under Ohio Revised Code 3721.12 resident rights. ODH provides guidance on posting of the homes' rules, policies, procedures. LeadingAge Ohio encourages members to evaluate the guidance to ensure their organizations are in compliance with Ohio rule.
