Webinar participants will develop a better understanding of the unique needs of family caregivers of older adults who are victims of trauma and how to provide PCTI care to family caregivers of older adults who are victims of trauma.

The goals of LSS’s Caregiver Support and Respite Program are to reduce caregiver burden of caregivers who serve veterans, increase caregiver skill, competency and confidence and connect caregivers to support they need. Tara Giese has extensive experience working in the veteran community, providing caregiver consultation, coaching, in-home respite care, group respite care, education, and training.

Jewish Family Service Agency of Central New Jersey      

The Jewish Family Service of Central New Jersey provides care and services to Holocaust survivors of Union County. Through the JFNA grant and funding from the Claims Conference, JFS provides services such as Kosher Meals on Wheels, social groups and outings to prevent isolation, emergency financial assistance, and well as Registered Nurses and In-Home Health Aides.
