In light of the Coronavirus/COVID-19 pandemic, the protocols/guidelines/recommendations from national, state and local authorities, and our concern for our members and partners, LeadingAge Ohio has decided to postpone the Hospice Quality & Compliance Forum scheduled for March 31.
We plan to reschedule this event in the near future, and additional correspondence will come from me in the coming weeks.
We wanted to make you aware of this postponement as soon as possible and we certainly appreciate your understanding of this decision. LeadingAge Ohio will keep you posted as new plans unfold, and it is our sincere hope that you will be able to participate when the event is rescheduled.
LeadingAge Ohio invites Hospice QAPI Managers, Compliance Professionals, Clinical Managers and Leadership to this semi-annual networking event. This event is an open forum for professionals to come together to share those regulatory and compliance hurdles that keep you up at night. Participants will swap notes from recent surveys, speculate on the future of Hospice Compare, and share strategies for developing your organization’s QAPI program. This forum will show you that you are not alone!
The agenda for this event is developed by the participants, so email your top concerns to Anne Shelley, Director of Professional Development & HH/Hospice Regulatory Relations at ashelley@leadingageohio.org ahead of time, and come ready to share your strengths and your struggles.

Continuing Education Information
This event will provide 2.5 clock hours. Criteria for successful completion: Attendance at the entire event. No conflict of interest exists for any individual in a position to control the content of the educational activity.
LeadingAge Ohio is an approved provider by the Board of Executives of Long Term Services and Supports. Core of knowledge subject area: Management and Leadership
As stated in the Ohio Administrative Code 4723-9-05, education that has been approved by a board or an agency that regulates a health care profession in Ohio or another jurisdiction is an acceptable option to meet nursing continuing education requirements.
Substitution and Cancellation Policy: Substitutions, in writing, are welcome at no additional cost. Cancellations received by two calendar weeks prior to event date will be fully refunded. Cancellations received between 7 and 13 days prior to the event date will be refunded minus a $10 processing fee. No refunds will be issued 6 or fewer days prior to the event date.
