New Executive Director to Lead Genacross Lutheran Services-Wolf Creek Campus
TOLEDO, Ohio, September 6, 2018 – Genacross Lutheran Services has announced the appointment of Martin Jan as Executive Director for the Genacross Lutheran Services-Wolf Creek Campus, a continuing care retirement community located at 2001 Perrysburg Holland Road in Holland, Ohio.
Mr. Jan will be responsible for the day-to-day operations, community outreach, and business development of the campus, which includes independent living, assisted living, short-term and long-term skilled nursing care, and rehabilitation services.
As the campus administrator, Mr. Jan said he “focuses on three areas: quality care, regulatory compliance, and fiscal integrity. When those are addressed, and we remain person centered, we will provide a great quality living environment for individuals seeking short- and long-term care services.”
Mr. Jan has been a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for 30 years and is licensed in both Ohio and Michigan. He was a Regional Director of Operations for seven years in those states, and, most recently, he was Executive Director with a hospital system in Monroe, Michigan. He has managed home health, hospice, and other acute service teams. His skilled nursing care experience includes: vent/dialysis, vent unit, memory care, long-term care, and assisted living.
“The wide range of health care experience that Marty brings with him will help elevate the customer service and care at the Wolf Creek Campus,” stated Tina Gendics, Senior Director of Post-Acute Services.
Mr. Jan earned a Master of Science and Education degree from The University of Toledo, specializing in gerontology and health care management. He resides outside of Waterville, Ohio, with his wife, Leslie, a retired schoolteacher. They have three grown children and four grandchildren.
