Assistant Director of Sales 

Kendal at Oberlin, Lorain County’s premier life plan community, has a full-time exempt position available for Assistant Director of Sales in the Sales & Marketing Department reporting to its Director. 

Essential Job FunctionsThe Assistant Director of Sales helps achieve and maintain full occupancy of our Kendal community, a healthy wait list, and a positive image in the larger community. Fully executes the sales objectives as outlined in the Marketing Plan. Responsible for carrying out all steps of the sales process from initial contact through closed sales. 

Qualifications & Experience:  The following is required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Three or more years’ sales experience preferably in a CCRC/Life Plan Community setting or in senior living with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals and activity standards.
  • Ability to achieve sales goals and initiatives. Strong closing and post sales skills.
  • Demonstration of proficiency in computer skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel) and CRM
  • Self-starter who enjoys working with older people, excellent listener, able to maintain confidentiality.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor required.
  • Good speaking and writing skills.
  • Candidates must be able to work 45-hours weekly with occasional additional hours as necessary to meet all areas of responsibility, including during evenings and weekend hours.
