Sagepoint Senior Living Services is a not-for-profit, community-focused organization located in La Plata, Maryland with a 40 year history of providing senior care to the Southern Maryland area. The only not-for-profit continuum in the area that offers home care, adult day care, assisted living, memory care, and both short and long-term rehab, Sagepoint’s approximately 375 employees serve over 600 older adults across three counties.

Reporting to the Board of Directors, the President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is responsible for organizing and directing the ongoing business of the organization within the policies and general directives of the Board of Directors. Responsible for all components of this quality-driven aging services provider, the CEO will possess both the leadership qualities and management skills necessary to uphold the organization’s ongoing success at providing the highest quality of care and services.

The ideal candidate for this position will have successful leadership experience within a high quality, resident-centered retirement/health care setting. (S)he will possess a high level of personal energy and can hit the ground running in today’s complex and competitive health care environment. With enthusiasm for results-oriented performance, the CEO will “walk alongside” staff and engage regularly with residents. The finalist candidate will also forge new relationships with the surrounding community, working closely with Sagepoint’s neighbors and businesses to build on its current exceptional reputation. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred) and a current Maryland nursing home administrator license or eligibility by reciprocity is required.

This is an outstanding leadership opportunity to envision and implement the future direction of aging services in the region.
