Sales Counselor – Senior Living
Friendship Village Columbus is a successful not-for-profit Life Care Community, located on the Northeast side of Columbus. Our community was established nearly 40 years ago and has grown to include 201 independent living apartments, 80 assisted living suites, 75-bed health care center. We are governed by an independent Board of Directors and managed by United Church Homes. Our mission is to promote independence, wellness and community for older adults in an active and friendly continuing-care environment.
Friendship Village Columbus is actively seeking a seasoned sales professional to join our sales team. The sales counselor is responsible for representing the community during the sales process with prospective residents for independent and assisted living.
Qualifications include excellent verbal and written communication skills, one-year experience in long term care sales is preferred; education or experience in sales, public relations or sales psychology is desirable; strong interpersonal and organizational skills are essential. Must also be goal-oriented, driven, and possess strong communication and presentation skills. The ability to stay focused during longer sales cycle and excellent relationship and follow-through skills are also a must.
