Annapolis Life Care, Inc., d.b.a. Ginger Cove, is a CARF-accredited life care retirement community located in Annapolis, Maryland. A safe haven for residents since 1988, Ginger Cove is home to 350 residents and 225 dedicated staff members. Tucked on 30 acres, Ginger Cove embraces wellness and peace of mind as a way of life. Emanating a culture of warmth and inclusivity, the organization is guided by an elected, volunteer Board of Directors.
Accountable to the Board of Directors, the CEO is responsible for implementing the policies and plans established by the Board and for the leadership and total operation of Ginger Cove. The finalist candidate will craft a strategic vision for the organization’s continued success in the future, while successfully shepherding current expansion/growth plans already underway. Proficiency in project financing, capital improvement planning, and development of additional sources of revenue is paramount. The CEO will embrace open, honest and transparent communication within a highly interactive culture that values listening as well as speaking and will be an outstanding communicator with residents, prospective residents, and the surrounding community. A Bachelor’s degree in business administration, health care administration, or related field is required (Master’s degree preferred) and a current Maryland nursing home administrator license or eligibility by reciprocity is desirable.
