The goals of this comprehensive two-day course are (1) to provide an overview of all content areas outlined by the National Board for Certification of Hospice & Palliative Nurses for the Certification Examination for Hospice & Palliative Nurses, (2) to provide a study guide for nurses preparing to take the Certification Examination for Hospice & Palliative Nurses, and 3) to provide knowledge about current standards of end of life care to apply in practice.
Intended Audience:
The course is designed for nurses preparing to take the Certification Examination for Hospice & Palliative Nurses. It is also valuable to hospice, home care, and oncology nurses or other hospice professionals desiring more information on end-stage disease processes, palliative therapeutics, and professional issues related to hospice & palliative nursing practice.
