The Caring Tree Project

The Caring Tree Project

New this year at the LeadingAge Ohio Annual Conference and Trade Show is The Caring Tree Project, a treasured annual tradition of the Midwest Care Alliance conference. We would like to make this an annual project to occur at each conference.

We encourage each member/agency to decorate a tree with items that represent your community of care.  This year’s theme is Stronger Together! Decorate your tree to celebrate your organization or community with this theme in mind.  Show us how we are "Stronger Together."

Please call Bobbi Dolan at 614-945-9025 or email at bdolan@leadingageohio.org for more information.

What Happens to Trees After the Conference?

OR

Option 2: Donate your tree to A Kid Again where your tree will be given to a family to enjoy during the holiday season

A Kid AgainHelping Children Feel Like ‘A Kid Again’

A Kid Again is a nonprofit organization that strives to enrich the lives of children with life-threatening illnesses and their families by providing healing times of respite through fun-filled group activities and destination events, which are called adventures.  These year round adventures foster laughter, joy, normalcy and supportive networking opportunities. A Kid Again strives to offer children, siblings and parents a cost free occasion to enjoy quality time together and to create lasting memories.

This mission is accomplished through the dedication of a volunteer network and the generosity of donors, providing them with the opportunity to enrich their own lives as they ease the lives of the A Kid Again Families.

To find out how you can help volunteer at an adventure for the children, assist at the next fundraiser, enroll a child or support A Kid Again programs, visit their new website at www.akidagain.org.
